Top 10 Seasonal Summer Recipes

For seasonal eaters like myself, the variety and abundance of summer produce is a real treat! In this post, I'm sharing my top 10 recipes for making the most of summer fruits and veggies!

This Vegan BLT recipe may be new to the blog, but it's already one of my favorites! It's a little smokey, a little fresh, a little tangy and just. so. delicious. To make these BLTs vegan, I replace the bacon with marinated tempeh. Although tempeh isn't an exact bacon replica, it works perfectly in this sammy!

I've received soo many compliments about these Crispy Corn Cakes, and for good reason. They're crispy (duh), corny (double duh) and make for the perfect summer side dish! Top with salsa to make them extra fresh!

Cherry tomato plants are known for being especially prolific, and this Cherry Tomato Galette puts them to good use! This galette features a parmesan-coated crust and a simple cherry tomato filling. Consider date night dinner sorted!

Summer just isn't summer without Mom’s Zucchini Bread! This recipe yields an extra tall and moist loaf that happens to be dairy-free! You can customize this recipe by adding spices, nuts, dried fruit, chocolate chips or other add-ins as you please.

When unseasonably chilly weather hits, corn chowder is my go-to dish. Along with sweet corn, this chowder features zucchini, tomato, jalapeños, potatoes, garlic, celery AND carrots! This chowder puts the whole garden to good use!

The musk melon and blueberry combo might seem unassuming, but it is powerful! In this sorbet, musk melon contributes a pleasant and subtle sweetness, while tart blueberries add just enough pucker. If you have an ice cream maker, this Musk Melon and Blueberry Sorbet is a must!

No joke, this is the recipe from my blog that I make THEE MOST. I have a container in my fridge right now! This salad is ultra-refreshing and uses ingredients that are probably already in your cabinet. For a hearty twist on this salad, I love to add crispy chickpeas!

This “Zucchini Potato Cheese” is my take on my mom's classic zucchini and potato casserole. It's crispy, cheesy, veg-froward and satisfying. It is my FAVORITE summertime dinner and I can't wait to eat it again this season!

Another family recipe, my Grandma's Blueberry Muffins are simple and nostalgic. The muffin base is plain and lightly sweetened, allowing tart blueberries to shine. These muffins are perfect for a lazy Sunday breakfast or a snack on the go!

I already know you love these Watermelon, Raspberry and Mint Smoothies because they are one of the most popular recipes on the blog! If you're out of the loop, let me clue you in — this smoothie is so simple to make and yields a refreshing and healthy juice. It's perfect for lounging by the pool or the grill!
